About Auris
Auris is an independent Chrome extension that reads AI chat answers aloud in real time, on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. It launched on the Chrome Web Store in July 2026, is sold as a yearly license through Dodo Payments, and lives at heyauris.com. Conversations stay on the user's device.
What Auris does
AI tools answer in long blocks of text. Auris turns those answers into speech the moment they start streaming, so people can listen while they cook, move, rest their eyes, or simply prefer hearing to reading. It announces code and tables instead of reading syntax and gives the same keyboard shortcuts on every supported AI chat.
How we build it
- Private by architecture. Conversations are read and spoken on the user's device. The only network call is a license check with our payment provider.
- Honest claims. We describe what Auris does today, and we correct anything that is out of date.
- Paid, so it is maintained. No ads, no data selling, no tracking in the extension.
